Wow, what a winter to remember! Although the white stuff will help with our drought situation in south central Kentucky, it is also causing many other issues. County Agricultural Investment Program (CAIP) Cost Share applications were supposed to available today, however because of weather the Warren County Conservation District Office is closed. Applications will be available when the office re-opens and application period will remain open for 10 business days. If you have questions about CAIP, please email me at jcoles@uky.edu.
The Mid-South Stocker Conference is cancelled for Feb. 18 at the Cave City Convention Center. Organizers hope to reschedule for May/June. We will keep you updated on the new date.
As of today, the cattlemen’s meeting 2/19 and pesticide training 2/20 is still on schedule!
